Construction Update
Tiger Paw officially held the ribbon cutting on the new storm shelter in spring 2024, thanks to voter approval of a $19 million no-tax-increase bond issue in April 2022. The district was not only able to accommodate growth, but stayed under budget. The remaining $5 million is supporting capital improvement projects, including a new, inclusive accessible playground at Tiger Paw.

Ozark administrators gathered with representatives from the Missouri Department of Elementary & Secondary Education at Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center on May 8 to celebrate the school’s achievement of quality designation of Exhibiting High Quality through the DESE’s Quality Assurance Report.

On April 21, the Ozark Board of Education voted to hire Casey Winckler as the principal of Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center. The position became available recently after the board named current Principal Dr. Elizabeth Dawson as Executive Director of Special Services for next school year.

At the Jan. 27 meeting, the Ozark Board of Education approved a one-year contract extension for Superintendent Dr. Lori Wilson, extending her leadership through the 2028-29 school year.

Tiger Paw recently received not one, but two Power Up Grants through the White River Valley Electric Cooperative totaling $1,177.

Tiger Paw offers a full related arts program, which includes music, art, PE, library and sensory lab.
