Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center is home to Ozark’s youngest learners. Walking through the doors, you would never know the building houses five different programs, each interwoven to create the Early Childhood Center.

Construction Update
Tiger Paw officially held the ribbon cutting on the new storm shelter in spring 2024, thanks to voter approval of a $19 million no-tax-increase bond issue in April 2022. The district was not only able to accommodate growth, but stayed under budget. The remaining $5 million is supporting capital improvement projects, including a new, inclusive accessible playground at Tiger Paw.

Tiger Paw recently received not one, but two Power Up Grants through the White River Valley Electric Cooperative totaling $1,177.

Every child deserves a place to play — and now, thanks to a new accessible playground and an update to the existing playground at Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center, that vision is becoming a reality. Students have been playing on the new spaces for weeks, but the school officially celebrated this milestone in inclusion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 29.

For the second consecutive year, Ozark’s Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center received a grant allowing families to save money. Valued up to $780,000, the grant will pay tuition for students who will enter kindergarten in the 2026-27 school year.

Congratulations to our 2024-25 OZcar Staff of the Year winners for each building! Ozark School District is blessed to have such a passionate, caring and supportive staff. While these are the building winners, dozens more staff members were nominated. The District winners will be chosen from these building winners and will be announced in August.

Tiger Paw offers a full related arts program, which includes music, art, PE, library and sensory lab.
