Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center is home to Ozark’s youngest learners. Walking through the doors, you would never know the building houses five different programs, each interwoven to create the Early Childhood Center.
Construction Update
Tiger Paw officially held the ribbon cutting on the new storm shelter in spring 2024, thanks to voter approval of a $19 million no-tax-increase bond issue in April 2022. The shelter serves as a full-time cafeteria.

In case Ozark School District needs to cancel school, use late start procedures or early release procedures due to inclement weather, we want you to be informed of the process. Student and faculty safety is the primary concern in making the call for cancelation versus late start or early release.

We’ve all heard of the Heimlich maneuver, but have you ever had to actually use it? On Oct. 11, Giselle Gonzalez, a childcare teacher at Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center, had to put her training into action, and it’s something the Eoff family is eternally grateful for.

That means it's almost time for parent-teacher conferences across Tiger Paw, our elementary schools, OMS, OJH, FRS and OHS. Just one month after Ozark’s Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center received $100,000 in grants allowing the addition of two preschool classrooms, Tiger Paw received another grant allowing families to save money. This new grant, valued up to $780,000, will pay tuition for students who will enter kindergarten in the 2025-26 school year.

Tiger Paw offers a full related arts program, which includes music, art, PE, library and sensory lab.
